Supervise and lead warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient workflow.
Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of products.
Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and manage logistics effectively.
Conduct regular training sessions for team members on OSHA standards, materials handling, and equipment operation.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and support e-commerce initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Experience
Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor is essential.
Strong background in inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes.
Familiarity with forklift operation and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
Experience with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus.
Knowledge of AS400 systems for inventory tracking is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
