We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Lead to be based in the OrganOx Oxford office, you will play a vital role in the seamless warehousing and global distribution of our innovative medical devices.

This position will directly supervise a small team across the Stores and Logistics areas of the supply chain. This role is accountable for the safekeeping of all items in the OrganOx Oxford warehouse, the processing of receiving and dispatching of items from Stores, the delivery of customer purchase orders and arranging of shipments to/from the US, Europe, Canada, Australia and within the UK.

The Warehouse and Logistics Lead will also have strategic oversight of the Stores and Logistics areas and will be expected to identify and implement solutions to improve performance and reduce cost.

Major Responsibilities:
• Provide day to day supervision and guidance to a small team of Stores and Logistics Specialists.
• Develop and maintain world class stores processes at the OrganOx Oxford facility.
• Ensuring a high level of warehouse stock accuracy and accurate and efficient customer service (internal and external).
• Ensure that customer orders are processed and shipments booked in accordance with the acknowledged delivery dates. Coordinate with customers to communicate order status and delivery expectations where required.
• Coordinate with the OrganOx USA team to determine stock and spare parts requirements and manage shipments between the 2 entities.
• Manage all customer and supplier collections and ensure the shipments and deliveries are actioned accordingly
• Management of inventory accuracy in third party inventory storage locations, including the regular counting of inventory and adjustment of inventory in OrganOx ERP system
• Develop import and export document templates and procedures to ensure compliance. Maintain harmonised international commodity codes and UK customs procedure codes.
• Monitor and report on delivery performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Seek and implement opportunities to reduce costs, enhance delivery performance, and improve the overall customer experience.

Skills Required:
• Proven logistics and/or stores leadership experience
• Excellent understanding of supply chain best practice
• High proficiency in using an ERP system such as SAP
• Able to project manage tasks/continuous improvement projects to completion
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to communicate/coordinate with third-party logistics partners outside core working hours when required to maintain business performance.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to travel to UK and European logistics partners for relationship management and inventory management. Travel expected 3 days per month on average.
