Job Description
Responsibilities:
Enter shipment data into the computer system to generate required documents and labels.
Apply rates and charges and arrange export clearance through U.S. Customs.
Track shipments with carriers from origin to destination.
Arrange pick-up of shipments from customer or vendor and transfer to carriers.
Print documents for shipments and assemble/distribute as required for export.
Print and apply cargo labels to shipments.
Provide service and support to customers and overseas offices regarding status, transit, or irregularities of shipments.
Create invoices for customer shipments, third-party, and Freehouse billings.
Arrange flights with airlines for customer shipments and provide flight information and shipment details to customers.
Run reports for tracking milestones as required for QMS.
Assist in creating and updating operations and customer SOPs.
Issue and pouch MAWBs for shipments being tendered to airlines.
Create and update non-conformance reports to ensure QMS standards are maintained.
