Warehouse Supervisor
This is not a big box, high volume pallet in pallet out facility. You will have experience with a very dynamic inventory and a large assortment of sku’s. You have experience in the full scope of functions of receiving, put away, picking, returns management, shipping, inventory replenishment, logistics management and freight costing. Your experience as a working Supervisor, from a very manual process site without the use of RF or scanning equipment will assist you in managing this facility.
Responsibilities
• Managing high value and wide variety inventory of goods
• Performing continuous improvement activities where possible to reduce order cycle times, increase productivity, reduce damage and improve overall efficiency of the warehouse.
• Facilitating the delivery of goods to customers
• Planning and managing through fluctuations in business based on seasonality and client projects
• Ensure industry safety and health standards are followed
We are looking for an experienced individual comfortable being on the floor, working alongside their team.
Requirements
• Post-Secondary education or industry certification is an asset
• 3+ years of supervisory or team lead level experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience working in an environment of many SKU’s
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
