Provides leadership within the warehouse operations team to help drive overall metric performance and meet customer expectations
Ability to lead, direct, coach and motivate personnel to desired outcomes
Safeguards warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols
Controls inventory levels by ensuring inventory control processes are understood and followed and by analyzing issues, determining and implementing corrective actions to increase inventory accuracy
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; managing and maintaining housekeeping programs and ensuring that 5S programs are followed
Leads warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team at our newest Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Lakewood, WA.

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the strategic vision of the PDC. You will report to the PDC Manager and have direct supervisory responsibility of supervisors, operational office support staff and indirect supervision of hourly employees.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 8 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experience
• At least 2 years of management experience

• At least 2 years of management experience
