Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing storage space, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures and protocols to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries, preparing shipping documentation, and tracking shipments.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory and shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and warehouse activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Stay informed of industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in warehouse management.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of [Specify number] years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
