What does the job look like
?
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be passionate about the logistics industry, your people, and our customers, and will relish the opportunity to lead by example. This exciting opportunity at our flagship brand-new facility in Laverton. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive warehouse team working in collaboration with our people, with every decision you make driven by safety, service, and cost. By partnering closely with the Site Manager, you will ensure we exceed operational and service metrics while finding opportunities to introduce continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day running of the warehouse operations to deliver the most productive outcomes for the site
Ensure the effective utilisation of all allocated resources on site
Analyse KPI reporting both weekly and monthly to improve productivity in line with financial budgets
Proactively engage with external labor agencies to fill any identified labor shortages.
Facilitate continuous improvement to warehouse operations through developing, reviewing, and updating warehouse procedures.
Manage P&L responsibilities using Excel for financial management and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Prioritise safety and ensure all protocols are followed.
Enhance customer experience and onboard new customers effectively.
