Warehouse Manager required for a packaging manufacturer based in Norwich. The successful candidate will be managing and overseeing a small team across 2 warehouses and helping to introduce new methods for distribution.
Warehouse Manager - Packaging Job Overview
• Ensure all areas of warehousing operate in a safe way and comply with the appropriate Health & Safety legislation.
• Provide a safe well-maintained environment for our team and any contractors or visitors.
• Maintain a close cooperation with the Customer Service, Operations and Procurement teams.
• Oversee the running of two warehouses : Raw Materials and Finished Goods.
• Develop the efficiencies of both warehouses through use of our MIS and continuous improvement.
• Leading and motivating a small warehousing team.
Warehouse Manager - Packaging Job Requirements
• A thorough knowledge of a modern Warehouse environment (both raw materials in and finished goods out). Experience in a manufacturing sector is preferred but not essential.
• A thorough knowledge of transport booking and tracking.
• A thorough understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• A Current FLT license.
• Good IT skills.
• Good team working, organizational and communication skills.
• Be able to demonstrate problem solving in a logical repeatable way.
• Be able to demonstrate multi-tasking capabilities and prioritization of tasks.
• A calm approach and a desire to be part of a successful and progressive team.
• The desire for personal progression and development.
Warehouse Manager - Packaging Salary & Benefits
• Salary dependent on experience but likely circa £30k-£34k
• Monday-Friday
