Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, issuing goods, and inventory control
Ensuring accurate inventory management, cycle counts, and stock takes
Monitoring and reporting on inventory accuracy, obsolete and slow-moving stock
Identifying and implementing cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
Planning and managing logistics, transport, and warehouse activities
Maintaining master data accuracy
Ensuring optimal inventory levels to achieve nil stockouts
Resolving delivery issues promptly and escalating where required
Leading, coaching and developing warehouse staff to achieve high performance standards
You’ll be a confident leader with a strong operational mindset and a passion for efficiency.
Key requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics management within an operational environment (electrical industry experience preferred)
Proven experience managing people, including performance management and coaching
Strong stakeholder engagement skills able to tailor communication for field staff, managers, senior leaders, and suppliers
Outcome-focused communicator with excellent written and verbal English
Confident decision-maker with the ability to work autonomously
Competent user of Microsoft Office products
