Job Description: As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. You will lead a team, optimize processes, and maintain safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products, while ensuring optimal inventory management.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance levels.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices for inventory accuracy and control.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall warehouse productivity.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality standards, ensuring that all products are handled, stored, and shipped correctly.
• Budget Management: Manage warehouse budget, control expenses, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory levels.
• Technology Integration: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to enhance warehouse operations and data accuracy.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze operational reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
