As a Warehouse Operations Associate at Ocado Logistics, you play a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders. Join our state-of-the-art facility in Purfleet, where your work impacts customer satisfaction every day.
We offer a variety of roles across different areas with flexible shift patterns, allowing you to manage your work-life balance effectively. You’ll receive your work schedule 13 weeks in advance, giving you ample time to plan your activities with family and friends.
The roles available include:
• Despatch: Load individual totes into frames for delivery vans and sort totes returning to the site. This role requires physical strength as you will be lifting heavy items.
• Pick: Efficiently pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes, handling goods with care, with assistance from advanced robotics.
• Inbound: Receive goods from suppliers, placing them into totes for our robotic systems and pickers to utilize.
• Freezer: Pick and pack frozen items in a climate-controlled environment, working in temperatures as low as -25°C. Full protective gear is provided for your comfort.
Shift Times:
• Days Pick/Freezer - 06:00 - 16:00 - 4 days
• Nights Pick/Freezer- 18:00 - 06:00 - 4 nights
• Days Despatch - 06:00 - 17:00 - 4 days
• Nights Despatch - 18:00 - 06:00 - 4 nights
• Days Inbound - 06:00 - 16:00 - 4 days
• Nights Inbound - 18:00 - 06:00 - 4 nights

• Starting rate at £11.87 per hour
• Night shift premium (midnight to 6am) - additional £2.+4 per hour
• Freezer Working Premium - £1.10 per hour
• Overtime paid at the basic rate of x 1.25
