At REVISED PERSONNEL, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and coordinate the activities of forklift operators in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
I. Job Summary
Oversee the safe operation of propane forklifts and their designed attachments to perform unloading, stacking, and picking functions timely and accurately.
Communicate daily plans, priorities, and assignments to the warehouse crew, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with safety procedures.
Maintain security of assigned keys and security codes, reporting any anomalies or breaches in facility security.
Lead by example, setting a positive tone and work attitude with warehouse staff, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
II. Key Responsibilities
Load and unload trailers, containers, and railcars following all safety procedures, using barcode scanners/readers to process product movements and transactions.
Accurately pull and stage products from assigned locations, verifying all aspects of outbound orders prior to loading.
Perform general housekeeping duties as needed, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory, as well as participation in inventory cycle counts and other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
III. Requirements
2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong background in forklift operations and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and coordinate teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
