The Role
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee warehouse operations at a customer project site. You will recruit, onboard, and lead the team, monitor KPIs, and ensure service delivery through order fulfillment, inventory control, and continuity of operations.
Systems & Services – Oversee multiple warehouse management systems and customer value‑added services
Workplace Safety – Maintain a safe, secure, and inclusive facility with tour‑ready standards
Team Leadership – Hire, train, coach, and mentor employees; manage performance and build strong morale
Compliance & Standards – Ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and ISO standards
Financial Management – Manage expense‑based P&L, working capital, and contribute to annual budget planning
Process Improvement – Drive efficiencies using LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices
Facility Maintenance – Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment, racking systems, and warehouse infrastructure
Customer Alignment – Match facility capacity to customer expectations; collaborate with sales and leadership on market strategy
Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with Project Services, Sales, Accounts, HR, and Finance to support operations

Education & Experience:
5+ years of operations experience, preferably in distribution center facilities
Experience managing teams of individual contributors and/or indirectly supervising support staff
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills in both group and individual settings
Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency
Financial acumen in P&L management, budgeting, and cost control
Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and process optimization
Commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and audit standard
