Maxim Logistics are a logistics service provider specialising in the storage and distribution of food ingredients throughout the UK. Our clients are primarily dedicated to food ingredients manufactures,
traders, distributors and packaging suppliers. Maxim Logistics are accredited against BRC Storage and Distribution standards which means that food safety and quality is integral to the operation.
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives
Weekly rotating dayshift 06:00-14.00 / 14:00 - 22:00
Key responsibility
The role of the Warehouse Operative is to sample product, check incoming goods, book in product, test samples of product, maintain records, unload, locate, and load stock in a safe and diligent manner ensuring the integrity and quality of the product and the safe handling of all MHE. To comply with the requirements of the Food Hygiene Regulations (England) 2006 also to apply good logistic practices.
Day to day activities include:
- ensuring accuracy of tasks undertaken
- Checking and reporting any damaged product
- Fully understand and use RDTs both handheld and in VNA
- Maintaining records for temperature gauges and scales
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge or Warehouse procedures and practices
- Previous experience of sampling and testing product desirable
- Experienced Counterbalance essential and current VNA license is essential
- Attention to detail
- Ability to concentrate in a busy environment
- Able to carry out physical activity as the role demands
- Understanding or written and oral communication

Pay: £27,739.00 per year
