We are currently recruiting for full-time, permanent, Warehouse Operatives to join us at our brand new, state of the art site in Warrington (WA5), supporting our customer, Iceland Foods. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.
We are currently recruiting for the following shift patterns:
Chilled Environment:
11:00–19:00, any 5 or 6 days per week
19:00–03:00, Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
Rotating Shifts:
06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00, any 5 out of 7 days
Weekend Shifts:
Days: Saturday & Sunday plus any 2 weekdays, 06:00–16:00
Nights: Thursday, Friday, Sunday & Monday, 22:00–06:00
Permanent PM Shift:
14:00–22:00, Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday

As a Warehouse Operative, there’s lots that we can offer you:
An hourly rate of £13.72. that is an annual salary of £26,754.00
Overtime pay of £19.21, paid over 37.5hrs

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Our Warehouse Operatives work in the ambient, chill and freezer chambers – this is a great way to learn all about our business and how we support the wider supply chain
Receive, put-away, pick or load goods using a modern wireless warehouse system including a voice picking system as well as driving small LLOP trucks
Support in the loading and unloading of vehicles
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
Good communication skills and be hardworking
A willingness to learn new skills
A positive attitude to working safely and as part of a team
