Night Shift - Warehouse Operative - Preston
Full UK licence is required as van driving is part of the job.
VTA Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-known company based in Preston that specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers, and medical care surgeries. They have a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer-facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK.
As a warehouse operative, you’ll pick, check and pack pharmaceutical products, load/unload vehicles, and generally assist with the overall warehouse operation. You’ll handle inbound and outbound consignments, completing paperwork as required and working to standard operating procedures.

• Night Shift (2:00 until 10:00am) then changing to (00.00 until 08:00)
• Monday to Friday
• Temp to perm
• £11.81ph
Key Responsibilities
• Pick, check and pack pharmaceutical products
• Load and unload vehicles
• Manual handling
• General warehouse duties
• Packing products for delivery and loading up for distribution.
• Maintaining health & safety standards
• Ensure pharmaceutical products are stored within the correct temperature range
• Housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse and yard area are kept clean and tidy
Key Skills/Experience/Requirements
• Good reading skills and numerate
• Computer literate
• Good team player
• Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential
