Job Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in managing stock and ensuring efficient handling of goods within our warehouse facility.
As the warehouse operative you will be responsible for picking and packing stock for pickup by site operatives. You will also control the stock in the warehouse and make sure systems and locations are up to date at all times to support the buying of products.
Other duties to include deliveries and collection of equipment and materials nationwide as required to sites.
Salary is paid monthly for this role.
There will be some travel to the Scotland office.
Duties
- Follow health and safety procedures for the operation of the warehouse and storage of products
- Receive goods into the warehouse from suppliers and signing off deliveries
- Process paperwork in connection with deliveries and storage
- Maintain correct stock locations
- Pick products for the site team to pick up
- Maintain a tidy and safe warehouse with clear isles and hazards identified and removed
- Operate any warehouse equipment safely Ie: Pallet trucks and forklift
- Assist with inventory counts and adjusting stock levels and locations on system
- You will adhere and work to all company policies, procedures and risk assessments.
- Complete all mandatory training instructed by management that is required for your job role.
- Be aware of the health and safety risks involved in work on every site and the way those risks are managed
- Always follow site rules and procedures and remain compliant
- Report any hazards, near misses and incidents to whoever controls the work on site, whether they affect your own health and safety or anyone else, including other workers and members of the public
- Delivery and collection of products and materials to job sites nationwide as required
- None compromise/tampering with any safety devices/equipment
Skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Experience operating forklifts for material handling
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures
- Ability to perform picking and packing tasks efficiently
- Capable of loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Full UK Driving Licence required

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
