Job Title
A warehouse operative is required to join our client's team in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
About the Role
Taking delivery of goods and signing for them on a computer system
Checking goods for damage or missing items
Loading and unloading goods using manual handling equipment such as trolleys and forklift trucks
Stacking goods in the correct place in the warehouse
Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movement
Conducting regular stock checks to ensure accuracy
Packing and preparing goods for despatch
Providing excellent customer service when dealing with customers over the phone or in person
Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at all times
