Prism7 are currently looking for a experienced Warehouse/Forklift Person on a Temp - Perm basis for a client we are representing in Basildon.
Role / Requirements -
• Must have stable warehouse experience, trade counter experience is desirable but not essential
• £12.00ph whilst temp and an increase salary after temp to perm ( 12 weeks ) will be £25,300 this may have the potential to go up after a year once fully trained.
• Must have a Counterbalance FLT licence and experience using it.
• inhouse Bendi training will be offered once permanent
• Monday to Friday (no weekends or bank holidays- Client is also shut down for Christmas).
• Working hours 7.30am - 17:00pm (there may be times when overtime is required dependant on business needs such as holiday/sickness cover)
• You will be trained on Barcoding (all products are picked and scanned). Your day will involve, serving customers who come to the depot, Picking goods to go out for delivery, loading and unloading goods from lorries as well as keeping the warehouse tidy/stock checking.
• Trade Counter experience would be ideal but isn't a must as all training will be given. However, as you are customer facing you will need to have good communication skills as well as being able to use a computer (The client has their own operating system which you will be fully trained on). There is also cash handling involved
