Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Health and Safety/Warehouse Operative to work Days, Monday to Friday for an award winning global document storage company in their warehouse in Stafford with free parking onsite and long term work!
Hours & Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate: £12.1+ per hour
As a Warehouse Operative you will be working in a warehouse based environment in Stafford with responsibility for the following:
• Keeping up to date with the current H & S regulations
• Updating the health and safety board with key and relevant names/contact details
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Preparing office furniture to be sent to home workers
• Quality Checking office equipment for any faults i.e chairs, tables, monitor screens, head sets etc.
• Full inspection process is to be followed
• Complete relevant paperwork to pass or fail equipment
• Use a scanner to check bar codes
• Computer Work will also be involved
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following:
• Warehouse Operative experience or similar ideally
• Full training will be provided
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a targeted environment
• Good dexterity
The role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable employment/ education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support cover the cost.
