Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's busy distribution center for a leading supermarket, where orders are constructed for distribution to the stores.
Brightwork are recruiting Warehouse Operatives in East Kilbride, Glasgow.
The Rate Of Pay Is
First 12 weeks:
• 6am - 6pm £13.68 per hour
• 6pm - 6am £16.27 per hour
Overtime is available and paid at £18.33 - £20.88 per hour
After 12 weeks
• 6am- 6pm £15.43 per hour
• 6pm - 6am £18.02 per hour
Overtime is available and paid at £20.57 - £24.02 per hour
This is a full-time role working 5 out of 7 and the hours of work are:
• 2pm to 10pm
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Order Picker at this site, your duties will include:
• Working in a busy environment picking various products
• Working in a chilled environment with temperatures ranging from 2C - 8C
• Operating manual handling equipment in order to pick items for orders
• Using a hand held scanner to pick the items
• Working to targets set out for you by your supervisor
• Heavy lifting is required, constant lifting and bending so a good level of physical fitness is required.
This role is physically demanding in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to be capable of lifting heavy items and working within a chilled environment.
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Warehouse Order Picker has a keen eye for detail and works with accuracy to ensure that they are always selecting the best items for orders. You will be able to follow instructions and have great communication skills (good understanding of English, both verbal and written.)
You are required to pass the Drug & ******* test and your own transport would be beneficial due to the location of the warehouse.
No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
