Warehouse Operative - Goods In (Chilled Warehouse Environment)
Location: Waltham Cross
Salary: £26,416 per year
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 over 7 (Including Weekend Work)
Shift Times: +:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Please Note: This role requires you to work in temperatures between 3°C and 5°C, and a good level of physical fitness is required to manage the duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processing Inbound Goods: Efficiently process and record receipts using handheld devices (HHD) and ensure the goods are logged correctly.
• Quality Inspection: Inspect inbound goods for quality and completeness, ensuring they meet company standards. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Weighing & Measuring: Accurately weigh and measure products as required, ensuring consistency and compliance with quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking and storage of goods in the warehouse, reporting discrepancies or shortages.
• Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following strict hygiene, food safety, and Health & Safety regulations (including HACCP control).
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery as needed. Report any malfunctions or issues to management.
• Communication: Report any issues related to products, equipment, or processes to management and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Other Duties: Perform additional operative duties as required to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous Warehouse Experience (Desirable)
• Goods In Experience (Advantageous)
• Ability to work methodically and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Manual Handling Skills: Comfortable with loading and unloading goods safely.
• Physical Fitness: Comfortable working in a chilled environment between 3°C and 5°C.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively and efficiently with colleagues and management.
