Bevcraft Group provides specialist Process & Packaging services for the craft beverage industry and today works closely with over 500 breweries and craft beverage producers across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US.

Bevcraft Group’s services currently include mobile contract canning, wholesale supplies, shrink sleeving, labelling, coding and related testing services.
The company has a Distribution hub in St. Helens and also a production facility / office in Peterborough to service the UK.
Role Description
Bevcraft Group require a Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role will be based at our Peterborough warehouse. The role will include:
• Preparing pallets of empty beverage cans for dispatch (wrapping, labelling, checking etc.)
• Splitting pallets of empty beverage cans with other team members
• Preparing smaller orders for parcel dispatch or mixed pallets when applicable
• Sorting returned material / inspection and splitting of same
• Loading and unloading trucks and vans inbound / outbound using counterbalance forklift
• Maintaining records including delivery dockets received
• Engaging with our Client Services & Logistics Team (who are based at our other sites)
• Handling any client collections from our site
• Working independently when the rest of the team are away from the warehouse
• Forwarding post / parcels / documents received to our other sites as required
• Ensuring good upkeep of the building and maintenance as required
• Undertaking other tasks as required
• Contributing feedback / input to process improvement
• Contributing to technical developments / solutions
The role is expected to be varied and will present you with the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
If desired, there will be potential promotion / career opportunities within our craft beer filling and can decoration service lines in due course.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will preferably have many or all of the following:
- Be a self starter / self directed
- Have a Counter Balance Forklift Licence/Ticket
- Natural problem-solving ability
- Good teamwork skills
- Be punctual / reliable
- Be good with time management
- Methodical nature and ability to follow procedures
- Have a Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Trustworthy and honest
An interest in the craft beverage / beer sector is an advantage as it will make the role more interesting as that is the sector we service!
Package
For the ideal candidate the following will be offered:
- A full time role to average c. 40 hours per week
- A competitive base salary
- Time-off-in-lieu system to accrue extra days off
- A bonus scheme will be applicable after 6mts
- If desired a career / promotion path within a rapidly growing business
- Ongoing training / refreshers as appropriate
A 6mt probationary period applies to this role after which time, if successfully completed the role will become permanent and annual reviews will occur to assess opportunities for pay increases and career advancement.
