Role Specification
Role Objective: As a Wide Aisle/Narrow Aisle operative, you will be responsible for safely and accurately picking of customer orders using a handheld scanner. MHE experience not essential as full training will be given to successful candidates.
Summary of Role Responsibilities:
• Warehouse Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment by ensuring proper storage and retrieval of materials.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Order Fulfilment: Pick and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
SKILLS/ ABILITIES
• The ability to work and communicate as part of a team
• Have an understanding and comply with health and safety rules and regulations.
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills- written and verbal
• Physically fit; all tasks require a degree of walking, standing, lifting or stretching. Some heavy lifting may be involved
• Basic numeracy and literacy
