WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES
WORKING 5 DAYS OUT 7 (MAY INVOLVE SOME WEEKEND WORKING)
Pay Rate: £12.4+ - £13.74 PER HOUR
People Solutions are looking for Warehouse Operatives to work for us at our Client's Warehouse in Kettering.
The Warehouse is located at NN14 3JW and is well connected to Kettering, Corby, Thrapston and Islip for those with their own transport, just off junction 12 of the A14.
THESE ARE FULL-TIME POSITIONS AND ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS IN FULL-TIME EDUCATION
You will be working in Kettering and will need your own transport to get to the Warehouse.
You will need to speak/read a certain level of English for this role so that you can follow instruction and be safe on site.
This is a very physical role as you will need to lift and carry items, some of which weigh up to 25KG.
Working Days and Shift Times:
Work 5 days out of 7, which may involve some weekend working.
• PM Shift: 2pm -10pm - £13.74 per hour

Duties:
• Receive/dispatch goods as required
• To safely and securely load/unload customer’s goods in line with warehouse targets
• To pick goods from stock for our store customers in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) - some of these items weigh up to 25kg
• Count stock
• Kimball and re-bag as required to ensure stock is kept in good condition
• To ensure high levels of housekeeping standards are maintained
• To provide a high level of internal and external customer care
• To ensure that the customers goods are handled carefully and correctly in line with standard operating procedures
• To carry out other relevant duties as directed by management to ensure the effective performance of the warehouse operation
Essential Skills:
• You must have your own transport due to the location of the site
• Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
• Must have experience working in a warehouse for this role
• Must have own transport due to the location of the site
• Must be able to speak/read a certain level of English to follow instruction and be safe on site
• Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• This is a physical role so you must be physically fit as you will need to lift and carry items up to 25kg
• You must pass a Drug & Test
• You must pass a basic English & Numeracy Test
• You must have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to prove this

• Full Training will be provided.
