Job description

Working from our new Bath store (target opening December), this role is all about passionately helping customers find what's right for them and feel fantastic about their choices, whether it's a new dress or the perfect present. Your goal will be to make sales, help the store meet targets and be a proactive member of the team, helping your Store Leader and other colleagues when they ask, and bringing a can-do attitude to each day.

It'll be your job to add value by:

• Helping to ensure that Busby & Fox’s distinctive ethos, customer care and brand look-and-feel are represented to customers from the moment they first step through our door and throughout their continued journey with us

• Developing an intrinsic understanding of the kind of people who come to us to shop, what their needs are and how we can help them to find the perfect pieces

• Making it your business to know everything there is to know about our products: how to wear them, how to style them and how to care for them

• Helping every customer find what is is they're looking for (with our top-to-toe styling ethos at the forefront of all interactions) and making sure that each one leaves your store feeling like they've had a positive experience

• Dealing with all types of sales transaction, payment and customer support with help and/or approval from someone more senior where necessary

• Supporting your leadership team in making sure the store is well-stocked and beautifully presented at all times by assisting with with housekeeping, inventory management, deliveries and visual merchandising

Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm, Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm, 38 hours per week

Warehouse Operator

The Role

Working in and around the company’s main warehouse in a ‘hands-on’ role the Warehouse Operator uses manual handling, a variety of vehicles and computer systems to enable smooth flow of parts and materials from purchase receipt, through storage and supply into the factory for work. The main tasks include…

· Unloading incoming goods using counterbalance FLT

· Opening deliveries ready for inspection

· Unpacking deliveries post inspection

· Sorting used packaging for recycling

· Quantity checking

· Packing parts and materials in storage units

· Loading storage units into racking

· Retrieving storage units when parts and materials are needed

· Preparing unloaded items for internal distribution

· Internal distribution of parts and materials

Warehouse Operator

The Candidate

You will be an experienced warehouse operative with the following skills, experiences and attributes…

· A methodical approach to systems and understanding of the importance of standards and established/agreed systems of work.

· Good personal organisation under pressure from time, internal and external customers.

· Computer literate.

· Competent in operation of all the counterbalance & VNA vehicles.

· Ideally you will hold a valid counterbalance licence but this is not essential

· Comfortable with working at heights and safety escape procedures in the warehouse.

· Comfortable with manual handling of parts and materials in line manual handling operations regulations
