About The Role
We have openings for two Warehouse Operators on our day shift at our Penrose Distribution Center. This is a waged role working Monday to Friday (5:00am to 1:30pm).
What you will Do
Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods
Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Loading and unloading trucks
Maintaining inventory accuracy and quality standards
Following health and safety procedures and policies
Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets
We're passionate about developing our people and will provide you with ongoing, on the job training to make sure you leave safely after every shift, as well as grow and develop your career.
About You
To succeed in this role you will need to have strong communication skills, be safety conscious, physically fit, and reliable. You'll have excellent attention to detail when it comes to order accuracy, have a willing attitude and be self-motivated.
To be considered for this role you will possess:
A valid forklift licence, preferably reach or has held a licence in the past
Previous experience in warehousing or distribution
Good numeracy and literacy skills
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Fresh ideas and out of the box thinking to warehouse work
You will need the right to work in New Zealand and to be happy to complete a police check and pre-employment drug & ******* test as part of the recruitment process.
