About the position
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all warehouse duties as required.
What you’ll do:
Material handling of hazardous products
Responsible for safe, clean, and efficient operation of the facility and equipment
Operate warehouse equipment (Forklift/Drum Cart/Strapping Machine)
Shipping, receiving, reprocessing, chemical handling, inspecting, cleaning, and testing, ensuring accuracy and maintaining consistent product quality
Operate production machinery with precision and attention to detail
Cleans and maintains the warehouse and equipment
Some outdoor work required in various weather conditions
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Work with air, water, and steam pressure
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
What we would like from you:
High school diploma or equivalent working experience
Strong organizational, mathematical, computer and clerical skills
Self-motivated and able to work within company policy where experience and
Independent judgement is demonstrated
Forklift operation experience an asset
WHMIS and/or TDG training an asset
Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training
