As a Warehouse Order Picker with Ocado Logistics, you play a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders. Join our innovative warehouse in Purfleet and enjoy working in a cutting-edge facility dedicated to preparing orders for our valued customers.
We offer flexible shift options so you can find a work-life balance that suits you. You'll receive your work pattern 13 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan quality time with your loved ones.
We're hiring for various roles in different areas:
• Despatch: Load individual totes into frames for delivery vans, and sort totes returning to our site. This role is physically demanding, so you should be comfortable lifting heavy totes.
• Pick: Carefully pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes. Our robots will assist you in this process!
• Inbound: Receive goods from suppliers and place them into totes for our robots and pickers to utilize.
• Freezer: Pick and pack frozen items in a large freezer environment with temperatures as low as -25°C. Full gear will be provided, making it a great fit if you enjoy the cold!
Available Shift Times:
• Days Pick/Freezer - 06:00 - 16:00 - 4 days
• Nights Pick/Freezer - 18:00 - 06:00 - 4 nights
• Days Despatch - 06:00 - 17:00 - 4 days
• Nights Despatch - 18:00 - 06:00 - 4 nights
• Days Inbound - 06:00 - 16:00 - 4 days
• Nights Inbound - 18:00 - 06:00 - 4 nights
What We Offer:
• Salary: Starting rate of £11.87 per hour
• Night shift premium (between midnight and 6am) of an additional £2.+4 per hour
• Freezer Premium of £1.10 per hour
• Overtime paid at basic rate x 1.25
