Due to continual growth, we are on the search for a Shipper/Receiver who will be responsible to accurately process pick slips in an efficient manner, help maintain our Elite Support certification and assist in all warehouse operations.

KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Ensure all areas in the department are clean, organized and safe and assist in retail area maintenance

Ensure shine maps are relevant and up to date and assisting in the monthly 5S audits

Process incoming orders by unloading carriers/couriers

Inspect condition of incoming freight and denote damages as required

Complete orders in priority sequence and shelve all orders

Ensure all discrepancies are resolved

Ensure pick lists are processed in a timely fashion

Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency

Collaborate with supervisor to ensure all necessary tools, equipment and supplies are available and are in good working condition where applicable

Assist with manual order posting as required

Responsible for backorder fill and maintenance

Assist in achieving the required number of annual inventory cycle counts as established by the Parts Manager: Ensure Cycle counts are performed as per documented process and ensure integrity of results

Assist in inventory discrepancy resolution, investigate all discrepancies and ensure all on hand inventory is assigned to a bin location

Assist Customers and co-workers and all areas of the warehouse as required

Provide a high level of customer service in a professional and friendly manner

Report all safety concerns, accidents or incidents to supervisor or Manager immediately

Cross train where applicable

Maintain current levels of required training and knowledge of processes and procedures

QUALIFICATION &

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Exhibit a continuous improvement mindset

Team Player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Able to work both indoors and outdoors and wear required PPE

Physically able to lift heavier items on a regular basis

Willing to pursue forklift training

Able to prioritize and re prioritize when required throughout the day

Able to deal with Customers, Co-Workers and Vendors professionally

Cultivate a continuous improvement culture
