JOB OVERVIEW
We seek meticulous and detail-oriented sorters/scanners to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for sorting client products and boxes; accurately putting them away, staging them into separate runs, and ensuring they are ready for delivery. Your attention to detail, communication, interpersonal skills and punctuality are crucial to maintaining the high standards of accuracy and efficiency we uphold at BeCool.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HelloFresh Box Sorting: Thoroughly sort client products/boxes based on delivery locations, product types, and demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and speed.
Specific Requirements: Ability to safely lift and carry 10-15kg boxes.
Putaway HelloFresh Boxes: Properly store sorted products/boxes in designated locations within the warehouse, maintaining organisation and accessibility for efficient retrieval.
Specific Requirements: Ability to use RF Scanners (training provided onsite), organisation skills
Staging HelloFresh Boxes: Efficiently stage sorted boxes into separate delivery runs, adhering to accurate delivery routes and ensuring proper arrangement of boxes for easy access during movement of stock.
Specific Requirements: Ability to use RF Scanners (training provided onsite), eye for detail
Quality Control: Conduct meticulous inspections of products/boxes for damages, defects, or discrepancies, promptly reporting any issues to maintain the highest quality standards.
Punctuality: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic in consistently meeting work schedule commitments.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to initiate and effectively cooperate with team members and supervisory members, ensuring clear and concise communication to maintain smooth workflow.Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate sorting activities, prioritise tasks, and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
Specific Requirements: Basic English and confidence, team work
Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations related to sorting, storage, and transportation of products/boxes to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Communication skills, including strong punctuation and grammar skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 15kg.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects of various weights for up to 8 hrs (with breaks)
Manual dexterity to handle small items and operate sorting equipment.
Able to withstand cold environments ranging from 3 degrees up to -18 degrees (freezer only and only at short intervals)
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.31 – $45.24 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
