Responsibilities
The Warehouse Specialist manages and organizes the warehouse and its inventory
The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, and packing and unpacking products and can work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
The Receiving Department is responsible for the acceptance, verification and processing of all deliveries addressed to or in accordance with NIWC PACIFIC Operations
Personnel must perform a quality assurance check of all deliveries before acceptance from couriers
Personnel must also validate all materials received against Purchase Orders (Contracts, Credit Card Purchases, DD Form 114+s, PTS Input), which must be supplied by project representatives or by the material delivery Point of Contact (POC)
Experience with managing inventory/OM&S items
Experience with Navy ERP or equivalent software
Manage and organize the warehouse, including inventory, products, and packing materials
Receive and inspect incoming products, ensuring that they meet quality standards
Ensure accurate inventory counts and document all movement of products in and out of the warehouse
Pack and unpack products for shipping and/or storage
Keep the warehouse clean and orderly
Receive material, check for damages and sort stock for distribution in the PDC
Keep record of invoices received
Fill orders by taking items from the PDC and prepare them for delivery
Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the Receiving department to stock
Deliver materials to customers on base
Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed

Data Intelligence is looking for an experienced warehouse specialist. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 6-8 weeks.
Job Overview
