Warehouse Store person
POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Store person
POSITION TYPE: Fulltime
LOCATION: Jamisontown, NSW
Tradepro Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company specialising in the import and distribution of electrical products including conduit and fittings to electrical wholesalers Australia wide. We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Store person to carry out receiving, handling and packing of orders in a small friendly team located in Jamisontown. Experience in the electrical industry preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Main Duties:
· Picking & packing of daily orders.
· Organising stock receivables and ensuring the inward and outward flow of products.
· Loading and unloading of trucks including operation of a Walkie Stacker Forklift.
· Managing logistics of outgoing freight
· Ensure inventory is accurate and correctly located, advising director of current stock levels and shortages.
· Ensure all warehouse & WHS standards are strictly adhered to
· Maintaining an organised and clean work area as per cleanliness standards
· Other tasks as directed
· Work hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Monday to Friday
To be considered for this role you must;
Have a current drivers licence
Have prior experience in warehouse duties
Have excellent communication, organisational, multi-tasking and time management abilities
Be physically fit
Have excellent communication and organisation skills
Be well presented, energetic and punctual
Australian citizen or work visa
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Electrical Industry experience preferred but not essential
Forklift licence would be beneficial although not necessary
Proven work experience as a warehouse storeman
Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices
Able to work in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organised and able to meet deadlines
