As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Distribution Centre. You will be responsible for overseeing a unionized team and supporting day-to-day distribution functions including inventory, safety, and personnel development.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervise and lead the shift workforce, ensuring productivity, safety, and schedule adherence.
Plan and coordinate the proper sequencing of assembly, loading, receiving, and shipping activities.
Ensure accurate handling and movement of products and materials.
Maintain the integrity of inventory and ensure compliance with inbound and outbound processes.
Resolve personnel, equipment, and workflow issues in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain security and safety protocols throughout the distribution centre.
Train, coach, and support team members on policies, procedures, systems, and best practices.
Complete shift reports and documentation (e.g., incidents, disciplinary reports).
Facilitate smooth communication and hand-offs between shifts.
Foster a positive and visible presence on the floor to support a high-performing team culture.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
What You Will Need

1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a distribution or warehouse setting.
Computer systems knowledge (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Experience with Distribution Operations and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night), including weekends.
Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to manage team performance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.
Experience working in a unionized environment would also be an asset.
