Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the inbound/outbound, handling, posting and distribution of goods
This supervisory-level position demands a solid foundation in warehouse operations, staff coordination, and adherence to regulatory standards
The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to uphold operational excellence and maintain a safe, orderly environment within the warehouse
Assist in managing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and the distribution of goods;
Support the implementation and maintenance of effective inventory control systems and participate in regular audits to verify accuracy and mitigate losses;
Assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating with the Accounting team to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely reporting, and adherence to budgetary guidelines
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, promote a culture of safety, and participate in routine safety training;
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within warehouse operations;
Assist in planning and managing warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and optimize workflow;
Oversee and support the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools to streamline operations effectively;
Assist the Warehouse Manager with budget management, including cost control and preparation of financial reports;
Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff; Develop work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels;
Contribute to the preparation and presentation of regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and KPIs

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the inbound/outbound, handling, posting and distribution of goods. Qualifications and Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior specialist role;
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred;
• Proven expertise in warehouse operations, ideally within the energy or manufacturing sectors;
• A strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software;
• Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations;
• Strong leadership and management skills;
• Forklift certification is preferred
