Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a team and manage all warehouse functions, including material handling, receiving, kitting, and shipping
This position involves direct supervision, motivating the team, leading by example, and fostering a positive team environment
The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing inbound, outbound, and internal material movement processes
Supervise overall stockroom operations
Provide guidance and direction, and improve individual performance through clear expectations, training, coaching, and mentoring of the warehouse team
Work with support functions and customers to enhance company objectives and customer satisfaction
Achieve departmental metrics by taking strategic actions or implementing process improvements
Cultivate a high-performance culture with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
Ensure that material movement processes and procedures within and outside the MRP system are followed and documented
Oversee company cycle counting procedures to maintain accurate inventory
Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipment transactions
Communicate with customers to address shipping and receiving inquiries and resolve issues
Ensure general safety and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Maintain good communication skills and meet deadlines
Perform other duties as required
