Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals.
Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, providing training on forklift operation, OSHA safety protocols, and best practices in warehouse distribution.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline warehouse workflows.
Oversee compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards, ensuring safe heavy lifting practices and mechanical knowledge application.
Conduct regular audits for inventory control, shipping & receiving accuracy, and materials handling procedures.
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining forklift operations safely.
Experience
Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse leadership role with a strong background in warehouse experience and team management.
Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse distribution processes.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and inventory control software.
Hands-on experience with forklift operation certification and materials handling equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy lifting, mechanical operations, and warehouse safety protocols.
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
