Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, relevant warehouse experience, and proficiency with forklift operation. This role involves managing shipping and receiving processes, supervising order fulfillment, and supporting team members to meet operational goals.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, and loading/unloading of goods
Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training on production standards, safety protocols, and best practices in warehouse processes
Interact with clients to resolve any delivery issues
Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving transactions and inventory movements
Qualifications
Hands-on experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging, and heavy lifting techniques
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency
Proficient in basic computer applications, including email, spreadsheets, and inventory systems
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs repetitively
Standing for extended periods of time
Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
