We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician who will be responsible for maintaining our warehouse inventory, ensuring the organization of the warehouse, and assisting with loading and unloading delivery and installation crew vehicles. The successful candidate will follow and maintain a manifest to prepare and stage orders for crews to be picked up the following day.
Core Role Responsibilities
Review manifests and cross-reference them against upcoming installation projects
Gather windows, allied materials, and special-order material by customer project
Unload/load delivery and service trucks
Ensure the organization of the warehouse and cage
Deliver items/materials to job sites as needed
Perform simple services as needed (screen installation, screen repair, etc.)
Basic Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years of work experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to lift 75+ pounds
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Preferred Requirements
Experience reviewing manifests is a plus
Demonstrated experience performing simple maintenance on home-improvement related projects
Previous customer service experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new software programs and perform basic inventory entry
