Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative
Location: Breaston, Derbyshire Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (37.5 hours per week). Annual Salary: 23,500 – 25,000 Benefits: 20 days holiday + Bank holidays, Pension scheme, On-site training provided, Free onsite car park, Annual eye test
We are seeking a dedicated, organised, and enthusiastic individual to join our small team as a Warehouse Operative within our distribution business. We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
•Picking and packing orders
•Fulfilling customer order requirements (assembling/labelling)
•Loading and unloading shipments
•Organising and counting shipments
•Conducting daily stock checks
•Booking in deliveries
•Maintaining clean and tidy standards
•Lifting and moving boxes
•Adhering to safety processes
Essential Attributes:
•Eye for detail
•Strong work ethic
•Passion and self-determination
•Quick learner
•Fluent in English
•Maths GCSE Level 5 or equivalent
•Punctuality
Knowledge & Personal Skills:
•Good communication skills – verbal and written
•Excellent time management and organisational skills
•Ability to work under pressure
•Flexibility and adaptability to work across various areas of the warehouse
•Ability to work as part of a team and also work independently
