Join Our Team as a Warehouse Clerk – Best Cheer Stone
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities related to the handling, inspection, and shipping of stone slabs and other products. Adequate training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently handle the loading and unloading of stone slabs and prefab materials.
Customer Assistance: Assist sales representatives and customers in viewing and selecting materials within the warehouse.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other machinery required for the transportation of large orders and heavy products.
Order Inspection: Thoroughly inspect incoming and outgoing orders, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and ship orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and efficiency within the warehouse to create a safe and organized working environment.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure workplace for all team members.
Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as deemed necessary for the smooth functioning of warehouse operations.
Warehouse Requirements:
Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
Sensory Skills: Good hearing, vision, and language skills required to operate machinery.
Availability: Open to working Monday – Friday for 40 hours or more per week.
Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Certification: Sit-down forklift certification preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
Driving Requirements:
Box Truck Driver work experience, 1-3 years.
Clean Driving Record
Drive Box Truck and Flat Bed Truck (F-650) to make GA local deliveries.
Use straps to tie pallets inside the box truck to avoid pallet falling.
Deliver shipments to customer with proper manners.
Keep truck outside and inside clean and tidy.
Keep truck in good condition on daily basis.
