ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Manitoba Cooperative Honey Producers is buzzing with excitement as we seek a dedicated Warehouse/Retail Associate to join our Bee Supplies team. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Bee Supplies Warehouse Associate, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Warehouse Management:
Perform various warehouse functions such as loading, unloading, and palletizing stock.
Assemble and pack supplies for phone, e-store, and over-the-counter customers.
Assist in shipping out queens and determining shipping rates and timelines.
Manage back orders and perform cleaning tasks.
Replenish existing stock and warehouse supplies.
Maintain outside areas, including snow clearing around doors.
Inventory Management:
Conduct random stock spot checks for quantity and quality.
Customer Order Management:
Answer customer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
Assist customers in the store when needed.
Store Maintenance:
Help maintain product displays, presentation, positioning, and promotional materials.
Miscellaneous:
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse, and/or retail settings.
Previous forklift experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of HACCP and Transportation of Dangerous Goods is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with basic computer systems.
