Job Summary:
LA FROMAGERIE is looking for a strong healthy person to take on responsibility of the warehouse duties, plus learn about the main element of the business, CHEESE, and be part of the wholesale team. EARLY START 7AM so must be able to commute to Highbury, near Highbury Fields. Must be organised, efficient, tidy and computer literate to update spreadsheet for goods coming in and out. The person must also have a clean UK driving licence (min 2 years) and be aged 25 to be on our driving insurance. Modern chilled van. Must speak and write in English, have references and be interested in top quality foods and cheese. A knowledge of London roads and driving knowledge of signs and highway code. Driving is occasional as a back up for main drivers when they are off sick or on holiday. Please contact careers@lafromagerie.co.uk with CV
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in driving in London and knowledge of up to date Highway Code and street signage
• Must be fit and healthy, able to lift boxes with cheese, wine and other goods; with details of any previous health problems reported
• Must have valid Clean UK Driver's License - at least 2 years experience
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7.00am to 3.00 pm (with some flexibility at busiest times of year)
• Ability to remain calm and professional in the working environment and when driving
• Willingness to adhere to directions and follow safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
