Exciting Opportunity: Warranty Test Technician
This is your chance to join a dynamic team as a Warranty Test Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in driving quality and excellence. We are looking for someone who has previous Warranty experience gained from within the Automotive or Defence sector.
The annual salary for this role is paying up to £35,000 per annum, and the working hours are 40 hours per week (8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday).
What You Will Do
• Conduct hands-on inspection, diagnostics of units, and comparison against OEM specifications to identify issues.
• Report analysis data within agreed time scales in formats required by customers.
• Perform detailed analysis of warranty returns, claims, and costs to determine corrective and preventative actions.
• Provide technical support across departments to enhance product quality.
• Communicate fault and liability information to internal management for action planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and special projects as required.
What You Will Bring
• Preferred understanding of fuel systems, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability to use hand tools and measurement equipment with a knack for interpreting results and data.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Qualifications: GCSE Level A-C, IVQ Technician certificate, BTec first certificate, NVQ level 2 qualification, or equivalent.
