What’s The Role:
We're seeking a motivated Wash Bay Attendant / Truck Detailer to join our growing team based from our Erskine Park, Sydney Workshop.
Working an afternoon shift starting at 2.00pm you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest level while working in state of the art facilities.
Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centers. Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensure any trucks and trailers leaving the depot are clean and presentable.
Full detailing of the inside and outside of the trucks and trailers.
Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay area.
Basic yard or shed work as required.
What You’ll Bring:
Previous detailing experience in the heavy vehicle industry or similar role desirable
Positive, can-do attitude
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
Well presented, professional and reliable.
Being able to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A heavy vehicle licence is not essential but would be well regarded.
