The City of Walla Walla is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hazardous Waste Handler. In this role, you will assist with regulatory compliance and safe handling procedures at our Moderate Risk Waste Facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying, sorting, and bulking of materials
Maintain and operate landfill-related environmental controls
Monitor and sample waste for quality control
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years of experience in waste management or related field preferred
