Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber to join our team. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, autonomy, and varied day‑to‑day tasks, with minimal time spent on administration.
The role is mainly based across the Greater Belfast area. Occasional travel to other sites across Northern Ireland may be required as part of normal working hours. All work‑related travel is fully supported by the company.
Key Responsibilities
Shower descaling
Water sampling
Testing and servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
Maintenance of UV filtration systems
Servicing of expansion vessels
Inspection, cleaning and disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs)
Cleaning and disinfection of domestic and process water systems
About You
You will be:
Experienced as a Water Hygiene Engineer and/or Plumber
Comfortable working independently on commercial and industrial sites
Knowledgeable in health and safety requirements
Well organised with good time‑management skills
Confident using basic IT for simple certification and reporting
Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused
Administration is kept to a minimum using an easy‑to‑use cloud‑based system.
You must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
