Full job description
Our liquor store is located in North Shore, Auckland. We offer a wide rang of beers, RTD, wines and spirits, along with customer focused, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We are looking for one candidate to join our dynamic team as a liquor shop manager and help us contimue to grow.

Position overview:

The retail shop manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of Liquor Box Glenfield store, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Our store currently has an initiative to expand retail footprint to overseas with our target markets including several Asian countries. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Term/ Duration: Permanent

Pay and benefits: Hourly pay between $29 and $30

Hours a week: between 30 hours and 35 hours

The responsibilities and duties include to independently make decision on trading and operation, to manage staff, to keep record, to plan and track finance and stock level, to conduct sale campaign, to developing online sales channels in China and neighboring countries and so on.

Key requirements include the following:

Education at diploma or above level or 3 years’ work experience or more that is relevant to business or communication
Holder of Licence controller Qualification (LCQ) certification
Candidates having knowledge and/or experience of international trade, e-commerce, Asian countries market conditions and foreign languages will be preferred to benefit our overseas retail initiative
Honest and easy going
Strong leadership and team management
Excellent multi-cultural communication and interpersonal abilities
Ready to be multitasking and work under pressure
Good memory and attention to details
Excellent mathematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or retail management software
Be able to work on weekends and public holidays
