Airline Ticket Agents provide customer service to passengers, helping them to book, change or cancel their flights. They provide advice on fares, flight schedules, travel insurance, and other related services. They also issue tickets, check passengers in, and answer any queries passengers may have.
Airline Ticket Agent Duties
• Deal with customer inquiries and reservations, both in person and over the phone
• Provide customers with information regarding flight schedules, fares, and connections
• Issue tickets, boarding passes, and other travel documents
• Help passengers with check-in procedures, baggage handling, and special needs
• Assist customers with problems that may arise during travel
• Process ticket changes and refunds
• Assist in other duties such as scheduling flights and handling customer complaints
