Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
1. Ideate and develop content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
2. Create high-quality and original written content for various platforms, including website, emails, ads, blogs, offline stores, and other consumer touch-points such as Quora and more.
3. Craft persuasive and concise copy that highlights the uniqueness and specialty of WeaverStory's handcrafted products.
4. Work with cross-functional teams i.e., graphics, website, and marketing, to drive execution.
5. Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging topics to generate fresh and relevant content ideas.
6. Assist in planning special campaigns around brand calendars by bringing to the table creative ideas and leading content execution.
7. Assist in managing and updating content calendars to ensure timely delivery of materials.
8. Assist the SEO team with website page articles, category descriptions, and content as required.
+. Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of tone of voice and quality and optimized for search and user experience for all channels.
10. Monitor the competition and plan for change as the online fashion landscape continues to change rapidly.
Requirements :
1. 3+ years of agency/brand experience in content writing for a lifestyle brand. Work experience with a fashion brand is preferred.
2. Excellent writing and story-telling skills - should have the ability to write long form content as well as snappy marketing content.
3. Experience in digital fashion content or other content relative to the brands' customer base.
4. Passion or interest in Indian handlooms and handcrafted clothing.
5. The ability to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.
6. The cross-functional nature of the role requires you to be team player with a positive, problem-solving attitude
